Scarboro Toyota are proud to work with the following organisations.
Lachie Samuels – FIFO Mental Health Guy
“My mission over the next 10 years is to make mining the healthiest industry, mentally and emotionally in Australia.
This is why I started the FIFO Mental Health Summit, as well as the association for Mental Health in Mining. These allow me to shine a light on solutions that have been tested, as well as those that have potential, which I believe will reduce the time wasted on testing and iterating within mining organisations. Within my own work, I see myself scaling my business, finding ex FIFO workers who derive a sense of meaning and purpose from stepping back in and providing education and support around FIFO mental health.” – Lachie Samuels.
Scarboro Toyota are proud sponsors of Lachie Samuels supplying him with a Toyota Hilux. You may have spotted the “Purple Ute” around town.
Youth Futures
At the heart of Youth Futures is the steadfast belief that all young people matter, regardless of their circumstances. For over 30 years Youth Futures have been empowering young West Australians marginalised by adversity, ensuring they have the opportunities, skills and support needed to thrive. This ranges from safe accommodation and mental health support, to providing students with an alternative to mainstream school. Scarboro Toyota proudly supports the Pipeline Challenge each May, a 5 day mountain bike ride that raises money for young mums at risk of losing custody of their baby due to homelessness or unsafe living conditions such as domestic violence. The team also hold a Christmas Cheer collection to make Christmas brighter for young people in need.
